Our Chapter

Founded in 2020, 

Dear Asian Youth at UChicago aims to empower Asian and Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) youth, 

to increase awareness about APIDA issues and appreciation of Asian/APIDA culture, and to promote political engagement and intersectional activism in the APIDA community.

During the year, our chapter aims to establish an APIDA community @ Uchicago while also aiding local organizations to help address APIDA issues. We do things ranging from family group outings, field trips to Chinatown, volunteering with local nonprofits, and impact investing.
