Nope! Anyone interested in AAPI issues/our mission, regardless of identity, is welcome.

You'll get to be a part of a close-knit community and contribute to impactful projects! We'll have regular meetings (discussions about current events, study breaks/game nights/potlucks, guest speakers), and you'll also be part of a "family" of a few other members and have events/outings together as well. In the Winter and Spring quarters, members will get to work on policy/service/social justice projects in collaboration with local organizations!

About 3-5 hours per week! This will be made up of community meetings and "family events," which will usually occur once a week for 1-2 hours (with exceptions for finals week, etc.). In the Winter and Spring quarters, members will have the opportunity to work on projects as well (which may be an additional 1-3 hours).

If you're interested in being a member, we're genuinely just looking to see your interest in our club and our mission. We want to build a community of kind and powerful changemakers, not to create an exclusive environment! ​ If you're applying for a position, we want to know if you're willing to dedicate the time and effort to make our club impactful in our work and a welcoming space. :) No previous club leadership experience is necessary, but we'd love to hear about any relevant skills or experiences you've had.
